E-Journals from Highwire

Broken Links?

The library has received a couple of reports that links to journals hosted on Highwire server are broken, however when we test them they appear OK. The URLS for the ones which are reported as problematic are in the format http://intl.jbc.org rather than http://www.jbc.org .

There are approximately 40 journals in our list where we use the intl link and we are trying to gather evidence as to whether this is just a periodic glitch or a more substantial problem, so if you have a problem please email the library.

We have selected to use the intl link rather than www link as it should be quicker (by up to 50%) for us, as its routed through a special private line. You may experience an initial delay the first time you use one of these addresses while our site's address is recognised.

Annual Reviews

All Annual Review titles have moved from Highwire to a new server. Currently HIghwire is automatically redirected to this new server, but not if you use the ETOC icon. The library will be correcting the links over next few days.
